With a history of over 400 years, Lingbao dates grow along the Yellow River in the sandy soil. It is of big size, weighing 25g in average, 33g at maximum, dark red outside with thick flesh and small core. Being sweet with little juice and much tenacity, it is quite suitable to be dried. Both Lu Xun a well known writer and Cao Jinghua, a famous translator praised Lingbo dates in their works, which made the dates even more popular in China.
